About Dancemasters
/

Throughout the early 00's, Dancemasters was the most listened to dance show outside of London,
broadcasting to over half a million people every Friday & Saturday night for nearly a decade.
Previous Dancemasters guests included Fatboy Slim, Groove Armada, Craig David,
Roger Sanchez, Faithless, Masters At Work, Moby & Bob Sinclair with live broadcasts
from GodsKitchen, Sundissential, Cream, Gatecrashers, Miss Moneypennys and more.

Dancemasters originally hit the airwaves as Club 964 in 1999 before being rebranded for
the 00's with an opening show featuring Craig David & Artful Dodger.
Dancemasters also introduced Good Old Days to the airwaves; a segment of the show
which paid homage to the club classics that could be heard at James' live GOD events.

To celebrate 20 years since the first Dancemasters broadcast, continuing where the show left off,
host James Blond is back with a series of new shows presented in its original format.

Now embracing new technology, the new Dancemasters shows will now be digital;
with podcast options, listen again features & downloads as well as featuring a variety of new guests with interviews & exclusive DJ sets.

“For me the show was always about the listeners, my guests & the love we collectively shared for the music.
Yes we broke new tunes and yes we played loads of classics but each show was either a journey or massive party so I'm really looking forward to bringing Dancemasters back & very VERY excited to reveal who our new guests are going to be!"
